Find Yourself

Counseling and Therapy

The Purpose of Therapy is to...

Find Yourself

The Therapeutic relationship itself is inherently healing. A trusting and supportive bond between therapist and client provides a foundation for healing and growth. As a therapist, I serve as a compassionate ally, offering validation, encouragement, and guidance along the path to recovery.

Promoting integration and wholeness.

Who is Kimberly Rogers?

I graduated with honors from Regis University with a master's in counseling in 2016 (MA).

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), A nationally certified counselor (NCC), and a certified addiction counselor (CAT).

I have worked with clients in an in-residential treatment center from 2015-2022.

In my private practice,

I work with clients who struggle with mental illness, addiction, depression, anxiety,

family dynamics, couples therapy, trauma, and grief.

My Approach

I adopt a holistic approach to healing and growth. This means that I recognize the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit in the pursuit of well-being.

In my practice, I integrate various therapeutic modalities and techniques, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness,

somatic experiencing, coping strategies, and exposure therapy.

I work collaboratively with clients to address not only their emotional and mental wellness concerns

but also their physical health, lifestyle factors, relationships, and spiritual beliefs.

By considering the whole person and their unique experiences, strengths, and challenges,

I strive to facilitate profound and lasting transformation.

Specializing in Mental health, Addiction treatment, Depression, Anxiety, Family dynamics, Couples Therapy, Trauma, and Grief.

Mental Health

The goal is to promote self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment to help clients navigate life challenges and improve their overall well-being.

I utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to address specific mental health concerns, such as personality disorders, depression, and anxiety.

When we are working with depression, we need to understand depression and acknowledge the complexity of this illness.

Anxiety is also involuted. I provide education, validation, and support.

I help clients develop a deeper understanding of anxiety and empower them to take steps toward managing their symptoms and improving their overall life.

Addiction Therapy

we address the complex factors underlying addictive behaviors, including biological, psychological, and social aspects.

It emphasizes understanding ones' triggers, cravings, and patterns of substance use.

Addiction therapy offers supportive and a non-judgmental space for clients to explore the root causes of their addiction and develop coping mechanisms

to maintain sobriety.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

It helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and develop healthier ways of thinking.

CBT provides practical strategies and tools to cope with difficult emotions and situations, making it particularly effective for managing depression and anxiety.

Through CBT, clients learn to recognize and change harmful behaviors contributing to their struggles, leading to long-term positive outcomes.

Family Dynamics

Utilizing the family participants,

I help each individual navigate in a more open, honest, and kind way of communicating.

This helps the family dynamic heal and create new and healthier ways of connecting with each other.

Couples Therapy

Following The Gottman philosophy, I help couples dig deep into the triggers that affect and harm the couple's relationship. I help them create more understanding, compassion, and solution-focused ideas that help the couple move to a deeper level of vulnerability and intimacy.

Prolonged Exposure Therapy

utilizing this safe, evidence-based modality, I help the client bring into play their traumatic event through exposure in a safe environment

and move from fear to freedom.

Motivational Interviewing

This is a collaborative, goal-oriented method of communication aimed at eliciting and strengthening a person's intrinsic motivation for belief in change. It is shown to be successful in my everyday practice.
